Trouble is with this area is prone to alot of dirt.
I'm really curious if this would be a good application for the 'Slip Plate' that I mentioned in a earlier post. Slip Plate actually 'dries' to the touch so dirt does not stick to it. Some folks coat the bottom of their mower decks with it to keep grass from sticking to the mower deck. I used it on the drawers on my tool box and they slide like new.
