Kubota B-7800
Does anyone know if the QA bucket parts BL-1676 are still available from Kubota? I'd like to give my B-7800 a QA bucket, and have the capability for true forks.

I believe so, I purchased a L3800 last week and I purchased the QA bucket option.

Thanks for the help, Sir, but I believe these parts are pretty much loader specific.. I need the older parts for an LA-402..
BTW, I saw your new L-3800. I've looked at them, and the new L-4600 with lust in my eyes... Congrats on the new machine.. You made a fine choice!

I'm not sure about part numbers, but last year I put the Kubota QA for my B3200 with LA-504 FEL. I know I'm locked into purchasing Kubota front end attachments, but since I only wanted a bucket and forks, I didn't see this as a big problem. The QA allows me to switch from bucket to forks in about 2 minutes now, a little slower than SSQA I suspect but not much.

I would check with your dealer or one of the dealers on line and I would bet you will be able to find some for your B7800.

Good luck

I'm not sure why you would want it. Its not a skid loader QA, the only thing it works with is Kubota's over priced forks. For the same cost you can buy SSL fork and an ATI QA.

The LA-402 is not the most powerful loader in the world, and I think this particular Kubota QA system has the least weight penalty associated with it. The more weight added to the FEL out there, the less available to pick up material. About all I need is forks anyway, so that's a wash for me..

Is the part still an active #, Neil?

I am thinking of trading up to a B3200 - and one of the reasons is that I want to have quick attach capability on the FEL. How much of a weight penalty is the ATI Quick attach setup? I know the Bobcat style quick attach stuff usually involves an entire plate - which can add a decent amount of weight.

Any links to some good pics on the ATI setup so I can take a look at it?

Just a guess, as I haven't priced them in a few years, so I'd assume the price has gone up since then. They were $800ish, so I'd venture a guess they are $900ish today.

As far as added weight goes...... with the ATI and an appropriately light bucket..... I'd guess less than a 50lb. weight gain over the Kubota Proprietary QA. The benefit of the SSQA farrrr outweighs any small weight gain IMO.
