Forgive my ignorance, but why would you take it off?

Cleaning concrete maybe???

Looks like the answer to a question nobody asked. I can add or remove my toothbar in half the time and there are only two holes in the side of my bucket that do not affect performance in any way.

Who knows??? People have reasons I guess. I just don't see how this set up is an advantage.

You can't do a clean back drag with the toothbar on. I will often take it off when leveling and working with the box blade so I am can use the bucket to touch up places the box blade can get to.

Sure you can, I do it all the time with my ATI bar on the bucket.

I curl the bucket up and use the back edge of the bucket to back drag. No brainer.

I haven't taken the time to remove mine since I put it on (May). I have been too busy to do it. I have found it helps to spread that I can't with my box blade, as the teeth act as a "thickness" level when back blading. I do think I will be removing it for snow season.

I also put the teeth on the skid steer (only the 4' bucket). It is helpful to have a blade that has no teeth for those tight spots you can't get into with a box blade.

Bobcat OEM toothbars are removable, at least all the ones I've seen...
