I was shocked when I saw how small the lines from the SCV to the couplers is on my JD. Once I realized just how small they were I quit worrying about the need for large lines from the quick couplers on.

Were the lines steel or hoses. Steel will look smaller, but carry the same flow as what looks like a larger hose. If they both are say 1/2, then they should carry the same flow.

have to slap a calipers on, but its a rubber hose, certainly no more than 1/2" I'd bet.

J_J, Put the slide caliper on the metal part of the lines this weekend and they are 1/2" OD so my guess is 3/8" ID allowing for 1/16" wall thickness.

If the ID of your line is 3/8, then use 1/2 in QD's to prevent any pressure loss or flow restrictions.
