Quick-hitch by SpeeCo

Anyone use a quick-hitch? I found one at a garage sale yesterday for $20 and got it put on my 3pt and in looking at how the attachment goes there is not a place to hook the top. I have the top link on and both arms attached like normal. On the back of the top section there are like 8 - 1/2" holes but no single 3/4 hole for the attachment. This looks like the one that tractor supply sold and is only one piece.

Anybody have a picture that might help me figure this out? At this point I could use a 3/4" spacer and a 1/2" pin to make it work.

Well I found their website and answered my question. I am missing the upper U hook for the top link and the two mounting bolts. I guess a phone call and I should be able to get them. How easy are these to use?

I have one and for the most part I love mine. I have to remember to that I have one arm on my 3pt that I can adjust to help line up things. I've used it on two of the 4 things I have and they fit fine. I did measure all my equipment before I bought one to make sure it'd fit.

You are missing the top hook, part number 14113700. Tractor supply can get you one, I think the ordering number is HF141137. You may also want the y-shaped adapter, 14114500, I think the ordering number is HF141145. I'm in Engineering, so don't have ready access to the odering numbers, but believe those are correct.

I talked to Speeco yesterday and they hooked me up with a drop shipper in Colorado and Michelle is sending the parts . About $30 all said and done. I will have about $60 in a used Quick hitch.

I too purchased a speeco quick hitch for my JD 4720 (200$CDN at Princess Auto), and have had good luck so far. The biggest struggle I've had is finding a supplier for the bushing/adapter kit that increases the diameter of the pins on the actual implement to fit the quick hitch (pt # HF141144).

I had some luck yesterday thanks to Neil at Princess Auto in Edmonton. He set me up with Michelle at Brandt in Oklahoma (8005704003), who was very helpful. I hate having stuff shipped UPS to Canada because of their 'brokerage fees', which are an absolute rip-off, so then I spoke with Mary at Speeco (8005258322) who set me up with Lee at Points West in Winnipeg, Manitoba (2046618111, my side of the 49th), who was great and brings in Speeco orders regularly. So, at the end of it all I have a good quick hitch, and 6 sets of bushings for ~300$CDN. I'm happy, considering JD wants 60$ a set for the bushings, and I was too scared to ask what their iMatch hitch cost.

The imatch cost $250 but I got mine for $225. Not many 13 year olds buy tractor implements. It works great with my boxblade and grader blade. Here on Oregon, it sure would be nice if the sun shown for more than 2 days at a time. Oh well, atleast I can play in the indoor horse arenas my grandpa has in his stables.

I have multiple sized tractors with 3-point hitches ranging from CAT-1 up to CAT-3.

I only use the quick hitches for CAT-2 & CAT-3.

The only standard with manufacturers with regard to CAT-1, is the pin diameter. The spacing seems to be somewhat at random relating to width and height spacing.

The larges sizes actually match up almost all of the time. I haven't run across an implement yet, in a 2, 3N, or 3 size that hasn't fit.
