You can try moving your black support arms to the inside of the welded brackets or, if that's still not enough, take your pins out and reverse them so that they're on the inside pointing toward one another instead of on the outside pointing outward away from one another. One of those two changes should make it work for you.

I just went through the same kind of thing with a Speeco and a KK rotary cutter. When you're trying to bring your support arms to the inside of the welded brackets wrapping a ratchet strap around them and ratcheting them closer together maked the job a whole lot easier. You can go without that and just muscle them together, but being old and lazy, I prefer to let tools do the hard work anymore. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Give those things a try and let us know which one worked or if you had to use both. If you're just a little further off than moving the braces covers, ratchet them a bit closer and use longer bolts and extra washers as spacers to re-attach them to the welded brackets. You can always spread them further to the outside using the same longer bolts and spacers then switch your pin positions.

I'm sure you get the idea. It's trial and error and experimentation. Use whatever method requires the least movement of the braces as that will keep your pin angles truest.

I built my own quick hitch based loosely on the I-Match, and then modified my implements to work with it. We had quick hitches on all the tractors when I was growing up and I wouldn't want to be without one now.

I measured all my implements today and they were all pretty close. 29" from the center to the pins on everything but the mower deck. The deck is slightly narrower, 29" was near the outside end of the pins.

I'll have to measure the Speedco at TSC unless someone else has the center to center measurement handy.

I don't have center to center but the inside to inside on mine is right at 27".

I have a Speeco and, so far, it works with my Brush Hog (5' BusyBee), First Choice 6' Box Scraper, and First Choice 6' Landscape Rake. I do have to adjust the top link hook on some - I think I will replace the 1/2" bolts with quick pins to eliminate the need for tools. The BB is a tight fit at the inside of the lower hooks. I am planning on moving the location of the top link pin on some pieces to the standard - if I can figure out what that is . . . /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have the landpride one, cost right around $200. Best implement I've bought and wouldn't be without one. Only tweaking I had to do was on my boxblade. Had to cut away a piece of plate steel under each pin for the hooks to be able to fit. Everything else was ok. (backblade, york rake, bushhog, spreader.) Can't use it with a post hole digger since you remove the top link when using it.

Here's another alternative to the other speed hitches, it attached to just the end of the arms, thus does not require any standard pin width. I bought a set at the National Farm Show last year and it works great on my John Deere 790. The top link works the same as before, with the exception that it must be lenghten to allow for the extra arm lenght. I have TNT so it works great and with the ability to adjust each arm independently, hooking up is easy. Try this link.
