Morning All,
I have a question to throw out for my fellow TBN'ers. I'm considering purchasing a Land Pride Quick-Hitch for use with my back blade, York Rake, and Brush Hog. My thoughts are it will be easier to switch between 3 point attachments when I have a project going. What is your opinion of the Quick -Hitch? Is it a worth while investment? I'm looking at the Land Pride QH15 Cat 1, not sure of price as I didn't check yet.But-- I was looking on e-bay and found about 5 or 6 different brands of quick hitches, and with prices that start around $79.00 to a $250.00 one said to be made in USA. Now when I check the weights of each hitch they are all between 60 to 78 pounds. TSC has one for $228.00, and Harbor Freight Have one for $89.00, why such a different s in price? Is Lands Pride the best one? Oh yes I've seen Pats, but I would prefer the sold bar type. Thanks for your input.

I have the TSC quick hitch on my BX2200. I recommend this one or any other 'quick hitch ' of this type. Keep in mine that the implement will require bushings on the lift pins. These costs less then $20 if I remenber correctly. I had to grind a little on the box blade frame to make on/off easier. Once everthing is tweeked it works great for switching implements.

For a quick hitch, make sure your implements are all similiar widths, and same width as the quick hitch, with the Pats easy change (i have it) you have the flexability for different width implements.

The problem you're going to run into is stuff isn't universal for the rear no matter what it says. Every manufacturer has their own definition of standard. There are different widths on the lower links and different configurations to the top links. I have a speeco version I bought from Agri-Supply. I have it currently working with all my attachments except my PHD, but there was definitely some work involved. I don't think there is much difference in models except the price.

I have the Land Pride QH-15 Quick Hitch and I am totally satisfied with it!
It makes hookup a breeze, and it's a quality piece made in the USA, which is important to me..
