To those with a quick hitch , I have a question for you .

How thick is the part of the quick hitch from the back side of the pin on whatever you are hooking to the the very farthest point of the quick hitch itself ?

Example : Looking at it from the side , if your tractor is on your right and say a disk is on your left . The left side of the notch in quick hitch ( which would be the back ) to the very end of the quick hitch .

The reason I am asking is a quick hitch would work on my brush hog and blade , but would have to be removed for my backhoe . But not sure if it would work on my 6.5 angle frame disk . Measuring from the back side of pin to front on disk frame is 1.25 inches . On lift arms of 3 point , I have a measurement of 1 inch , so when just using lift arms , I at least have a little space or wiggle room .

If I could not make it work on the disk , then I don't see the point in me getting a set , since they would only work 50 % of the time .

Thanks for every bodies input . :)

This is a case of needing a picture to understand what you want. I'd measure my JD and Speeco but I don't know what you need to know.
If you don't have a camera, perhaps you can find a picture on this forum or the web.
