3-Point Hitch Quick Hitch too narrow.

I just purchased a Harbor Freight Cat 1 Quick hitch. The bottom spread is 27 inches and my Country Line 60 inch rear blade is about 27 3/8 inches wide. It will not fit the quick hitch. According to the quick hitch manual the spread should be 27 1/2 inches. Has any-one else seen this? I am bringing the quick hitch back and will have some-one measure the spread on another one to see if the hitch is out of spec or if all of them are too narrow.

I am guessing a hydraulic jack and a piece of 4x4 would fix it pretty quick, don't you think? Just spread it out a bit over the desired spacing and it will spring back to where you want it.

I had the same problem with my HF QH; I just ground off 1/4" on each side. Box blade was the only problem, everything else worked fine.

Sounds like the implement is a bit too wide, too.

My harbor freight quick hitch is 26.5".

My Harbor Freight QH went back to the store. Too many problems to solve and I was going to have to replace the pto shaft on my chipper. I got a different type and problems solved.

I have a speeco and its a bit too narrow-- maybe right on the narrow end of the spec or a bit under. Wish I'd returned it.

I had the same issue with mine, and thought it was just the implement, on old York rake. I've had it too long to return... But it was definitely too narrow..

I only had one choice when I purchased mine, unless I really missed something...

The problem is that the attachment dimensions are all over the map.
I have four Category 1 attachments for my B7500. The inside width ranges from 20-3/4" to 26-1/4".
There is no way a fixed width hitch would work with all of them.
