One difference to be aware of between Pat's and the quick hitches is the existence of bushings that have to get added to the implements for use on the quick hitches. Pat's accepts the standard 7/8" CAT1 lower pins as-is.
Another minor point about the Pat's is that you can get it with a spreader bar that will lock in the width if you want to keep everything set up the same way, such as if you usually use one particular implement.
Quick hitches are really great if you put some initial time in and homogenize everything or if your attachments are relatively new and already confirm to the hitch standards.
