A hydraulic top link and a quick hitch work real well together if the impliment is not straight you can adjust the top link from the seat! That is what I like!:cool2:

And A hydraulic sidelink is nice if the implement is not setting level.

There were 2 different harbor freight quick hitches. I will measure mine. It is the 27 1/2" clearance.

I got my HF quick hitch about a month ago my lower hooks are 28 1/2" center to center.

The standard lower link inside spread for quick hitches is 27" to 27-1/8. This is also the spec for the JD imatch hitch.

When I built my hitch I wanted to keep the lift arms at the factory length to maintain stock lift capacity and I didn't want to purchase a longer top link and PTO shafts. After pondering several options I purchased ez-hitch hooks and beefed things up a bit. I welded a permanent 1/2" x 2" spreader bar leaving the hooks 27" ID across. I then tapped the 1/2" bar and rectangular tubing and installed 1/2" grade 8 set screws and lock down nuts under each side to keep things completely solid .To mount the hitch on the arms I used 7/8" pins with a castle nut and cotter pin. All my implements fit perfectly and it's great not to have to bull around equipment to hook things up. I've been using this setup for about a year and have had zero problem. Yes, I still have to hop off the tractor to adjust the top link but I would have to do that with any hitch. Besides, the top link is the easy part. Here's a couple of pics.
