Loader quick plate for a TC-40

There is only one Q/A faceplate available through NH for the 16LA. It is $611.38 provided your local dealer is selling at list price. The weld on bucket plates vary in thickness, but for your loader 1/4" or 5/16" will be sufficient.

The nine digit number that starts with a 7 stated above is a wholegoods only reference number. Some kits still use this type of reference number but most do not. It should supercede directly to the one you need.

It sounds like the guy that spent $1100 either got rooked or is including the cost of having a welder weld the adapter on his bucket. All totaled you should have less than $800 wrapped up in this conversion not including any welding labor.

Can anyone explain;
While looking up part numbers on Missick's page for a quick attach kit for a 16LA loader I found ;

Part #1 in the drawing shows what I believe includes every part on that page, which is what I bought when I did my conversion.

My confusion comes from;
If part#1 is everything shown on that page, and cost $614.91
What the heck is Part #11, and why would it cost $799.85?

Can anyone explain;

I know this is going to sound oddball, but from everything I can find, the #1 part is the kit. The #11 part is a replacement mount only(just the paddle). As with many replacement parts, they may cost more than the whole piece. In this case, a lot more. I'd wager a guess that NH doesn't sell many of those mounts. If I wiped one out, I'd buy a whole new kit. BTW: The kit is the same used on the 14LA thru 18LA loaders.

Search ebay for "skid steer mount" and you can find the mount in 7ga, 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", even 1/2" material. I would get at least 1/4" or 5/16" material.
