Spring. Time to put the toothbar back on the front-end loader. Doesn't fit. Somewhere during this winter's snow removal, the bottom edge got a half-inch bump in it. Hammer looks pathetically small for the job. Toolbox is sitting next to a big chunk of limestone, 35-40 pounds. Hmmm. Wham. Toothbar fits fine. Off to work.

Is my tractor going to hate me for that?

Mine seems to like me no matter what I do, as long as I fix what I damaged.

Sometimes the right solution really is a bigger hammer:thumbsup:
I expect that as long as you keep clean oil and fuel in your tractor it will continue to like you.:D

While in high school I worked back in the shop of a local tractor dealership. One of the favorite sayings of the shop forman was, "Don't force it, get a bigger hammer."
