Quick responses PLEASE about a B7300HSD

I have been looking at a compact tractor to care for my land. Maybe you've seen my posts. I have a thread "Price on a B6100?" and I was asking opinions about it. There was another in the classifieds but I figured it was too much tractor for me and the price would be to high. It's a '99 B7300, 16hp, hydro, 4ft brush hog, FEL, 299 hrs, garage kept, all service records from dealer. He listed it as $8900 obo. After about 2 weeks, he dropped it to $7950 obo and said he needs to sell it. I sent him an email and told him if he really worked on the price I would be interested. He called me today and left me a message saying $5450 obo. That seems like he is almost giving it away to me?? He lives about 15 miles from me and I could go look at it tonight. Please tell me something!?!?! Is this as good of a deal as I think it is?

Quick replies please!! I need to make a quick decision. He changed his ad to same the same price and I'm afraid it might go real quick now. I work 2 jobs, one for the USPS and the holidays are horrible. I'm working about 80 hours a week and tonight is my ONLY time off until Sunday!!

I would go for it if I were in that market. Even if you decide you don't like it later on I don't see how you can lose any money on it and might even make some.

From what I can find, that's a GREAT price at $5450

Sure does sound like a great price. Maybe even too good. I suggest going over there and taking a good look at it...if it looks good, i'd take it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would be concerned that it might be financed and he might not have clear title to sell it....

That is one heck of a giveaway price. Buy and it if it does not have a loan on it.

It sounds like a deal to me also.

Not to mention garage kept, the service records, and goodies. It definitely sounds like a well cared for machine.

Get him to show you the paperwork. Here in NC the Ag dept sends you papers when the tractors paid for. Its not a title like you have with a car, but it shows its yours.
