This may be just the style of steering system used. In their previous models CK & DK series Kioti used 2 different systems. The CK 20-35 had "Load Reaction Steering". The when steering wheel was not being turned, the oil in steering cylinders was blocked at the steering orbital motor. This allowed some degree of feedback from the wheels to the steering wheel. The DK series used "Non-load Reaction" which blocked the oil to/from the steering cylinders at the metering spool so operator will not feel any negative feed back from the wheels. See insert -

The Non-load Reaction is used on larger equipment for the advantage of more uniform effort to turn the steering wheel regardless of load on front end. I'm not sure which system is used on the new models. If you have a service manual look at the schematics and compare to these posted or call your dealer and ask?
