Like I said, stay in the Kioti forums and bash Kubota all you want. I don't care, because I don't waste my time over there - no need to.
I see you posting rather often in the Kubota forums. You're not going to get very far bashing Kubota to Kubota owners. I don't go over to the Kioti forums just to be obnoxious and bash Kioti, and I obviously believe that Kioti's aren't worth my hard earned money.
I first compared Kioti back in 1991 in New England, and it lost out to Yanmar. In 2003, I again compared Kioti to JD, Kubota and CNH, and it lost out to CNH. In 2007 & 2008, I compared Kioti again, and it lost out to Kubota. All 3 times, Kiotis were too expensive for what you got. The "Kioti is made by Kubota" was a big selling point by some dealers back in the 90's - I heard those words - just becaue you didn't, doesn't mean that it wasn't happening.
Heavier doesn't always mean stronger - I've seen some pretty heavy cast metal parts shatter because of the inferior metalurgy. Not that I'm saying Kioti components will shatter, but there's no evidence in the market to prove their products are any stronger than the lighter weight components of their competitors. No need for a commercial weight machine in a homeowner/estate owner series, unless the metalurgy is inferior. I can get plenty durable, heavy commercial units that Kioti doesn't even have offerings to match up to, from Kubota if I want heavy.
I'm glad you love your Kioti. I loved my Yanmar, CNH, and now Kubota more than the comparable Kioti offerings, and that's why I've never owned a Kioti. Add to that the fact that the dealer network around here is almost non-existent, and buying a Kioti in these parts doesn't make much sense. I own a Kubota after owning, operating, and renting many other brands, and your rants aren't going to change my mind that I bought the best possible machine for my needs, and that over the years, Kioti couldn't measure up, in my situations.
