Ok, we have all read posts concerning tires. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif What I really havnt read was are R1 tires strong enough to handle loader work and back hoe work? I am not A commercial user just A land owner that will use his tractor for many things. Snow removal, rough cutting my fields, loader work ect. Sometimes I will have to be in my yard but I will never mow with it. What does everbody think? I know its A boring topic but lets play /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Adios, Mike

Farmers have been using R-1 for many years with loaders and farm equipment. Would think they could handle the job real well.
Myself, I would go with the R-4. Doesn't sound like you have plowed ground to work up, and that would be the better use (ground engaging equipment) for the R-1's (IMO).
R-4's Less mud tracked around, better floatation on lawns, and I believe they have a higher ply rating which is good for punctures in the fields where brush cutting. But I have done all these things with R-1's as well.
Any particular concern?
