R1's or R4"s???

I've had R-4's, now I use R1's. Pulling logs in the woods and snowplowing R-1's are my choice.

I've had R1's with and without chains on other two wheel drive tractors and they do pull and work well doing firewood pulling out cut trees and such. I plowed and used rear snow blower for years with chained two wheeled tractors, they worked great in the woods or fields, but you never want to go across lawns or plow on blacktop driveways. I have had 3 other tractors with R4's and 4 wheel drive tractors without any chains and have had no issues using 3 point snow blower(LA2674) or a LP3584 rear blade to plow two 200 ' driveways, even up here in upstate N.Y. where we get quite a bit of snow. The R4's seem to be the best for what I do including mowing my 3 acres of lawn in summer.
