For a "manicured lawn" keep the lawn mower. Get a new tractor if you need it for the other jobs is my advice.

I've had turfs on my JD770 and now my MF1635, I use it to mow around the house, mow in my orchard, brush hog fields, and snow blow in the winter. The only time I could use more traction is its wet and soft. In snow the turfs will give better traction on the driveway than R4's.

Just me, but I like my turfs for how I use my tractor.

Absolutely correct! If your lawn is "manicured" you will not be happy with the cut you get and the other issues with a heavier tractor and R4 tires.
