I just received the following from "Ask the RK Guy" on their website:
I had asked if there was a difference in the tire sizes from the R4 to the R14.
Their data shows the overall height of tractor with a cab at 92.5", my shop door is 94", so needed an idea if I can bring it in the shop,, it is going to be very close!
The dimensions of the R4 and R14 tires is exactly the same. We do not have any way to accurately measure the two against each other though. Their certainly could be a slight difference in cab height between the two tires within your 1.5-inch needs... Tire pressure alone would affect the height that much...
The pressures for tractor tires are wide ranging depending on preference for traction vs rolling resistance.
Your front tires are 8 to 24 psi
Your rear tires are 8 to 30 psi
The lower the pressure The lower the height, the more traction you have available. but the higher the chance of pushing the bead off of the rim
the higher the pressure easier to roll. rougher ride on hard surfaces and less traction.
