Phones that are "wired" through the internet are termed IP phones..... such as Time Warner and others have in their packages ...... TV, Internet & phone for one price.

One of the better features they have is they act like a "Meridian" phone and you can see who is calling before you pick up.

Yes I have that kind of system But the numbers are always didfferent , and th ID doesnt have a name
These calls arent telemarketers (per say).I guess technically they are, but the govt seems to not be able to geat control on them becasue they change the numbers so often.
Maybe it isnt more of a scam other than that they want to get around the DO NOT CALL LIST LAW. I dont know. But it seems to be all kinds of complaints online about it and I really think the govt cant figure it out.
These are a really must hear adnhave thenm call your places.. they are far fromk normal calls.

Have you filed a complaint with your phone company and have them monitor your line? Also report it to your state attorney general if nothing else to get on the complaint list.

I haven't received the robo-call from "Rachael" lately but when I do I just hang up. It seems there isn't much I can do about them. Because of the annoyance, I frequently don't even answer the phone when it rings unless I am right near the phone at the time. Let the answering machine take the call.
