And I thought mine was a wacky setup.

One advantage of the one in your drawing is that it could double as a torture device.

Mmmm I don't know... it's no more wacky than the linkage on the back of a backhoe bucket. From a manufacturers standpoint, hydraulic cylinders are cheap and fast. Linkages are simple, rugged, and virtually idiot proof.

I have a factory one. It works good but I blow snow for many residential customers in tight spots. I find in some situations it does not rotate far enought. Other then that it seems to work great

where can you order a hydraulic chute control for a 48" blizzard blower... don't want to go to my dealer.. can it be ordered on line???
