Rad fan vs finger. Don’t be complacent.

I used to love going to PT for my smashed finger. First you'd dip your hand in and out of hot wax half a dozen times. Then they'd slip a plastic bag over it. Then wrap it in warm towels. Then sit for 10-15 minutes. Then they'd take everything off the hand, peel off the wax, pick up some primitive looking tools and/or bones and go medieval on it.

Ever notice that the therapists for your hands are cute little blond girls. and the ones for your knees look like retired down linemen who played without helmets?

They are pretty sure that no matter how much the little blond girl hurts you, you probably won't hit her. But if a guy hurt you like that you might take a swipe at him.

Nope. Mine have all been guys in their 30's, in much better shape than me.

The guy that worked on my hand did an excellent job. The surgeons said they'd be happy if I ended up being able to pinch things between my index finger and thumb. PT guy got me to 99% of full flex! I can now make a fist and can shake it at the kids on my lawn.
