I have been doing some searching for the correct wiring harness that would allow me to install an aftermarket radio in the cab of my CT445 which appears to be wired for a radio and 2 speakers. I fond some old 2010 threads on this fantastic site which talked about a $19 adapter but no part numbers or follow ups with results of the install. Have any of you guys installed a radio in your Bobcat tractor? Is there a reasonable factory kit that I am missing that might work better?

Not sure which Cab u have bobcat has a couple of different models that they used one of their factory cabs is made by cozy cab I believe they refer to it as the steel cab and they do have a headliner radio kit available it's pretty sweet. I don't know if this is the one that used on your model or not but you can look up their website should be able to find it under cozy cab so you can see what's available and if that's the one that's on your tractor then you can order it directly from your bobcat dealer. Hope this helps.

Your Bobcat Tractor is made by Kioti.
The Kioti model would be a DK45SE Cab ,if yours is a current model with factory Cab,The Kiotis came standard with a radio CD player rear remote etc.

Give these guys a call, or use their parts lookup for your harness

What does Bobcat say?

It must not be a factory Kioti cab as it did not come standard with the CD player. I also don't believe it is a cozy cab. Possibly Bobcat made it's own cab as far as I can tell it is of OE quality and factory installed.

My dealer is looking into it. They are not terribly knowledgible as this is the first one they have sold with a cab. I called on Monday and they were going to look into it. Hopefully this goes better than the front bypass/aux hydraulics went. This place does not sell many of these little tractors and don't seem to be terribly experienced at the accessories. I was trying to figure out if there was a simple wiring harness adapter as you can buy what appears to be the same Jensen radio that Bobcat sell at several places online.

If it's a factory cab, it's the same cab as a Kioti. The Bobcat cab tractors do not come stock w/ radio...it's optional; hence the reason I had to go out and purchase a radio. You can use the connector that comes w/ the radio/stereo that you purchase and crimp on connectors to wire it to the factory harness. That's what I did...easy peasy!

There are 3 radio options from Bobcat for the factory cab tractors (335-450). #6988865 - basic radio only, #6988867 - radio with Weather Alert, & #6988869 - radio w/ Weather Alert and CD player. Adapter harness to connect radio to cab harness - #6988908. Trim piece to give more of factory installation appearance - #6988506.

My cab's pretty quiet; however, I don't have anything to compare to other than open station models. For me, I don't wear hearing protection and the stereo I put in (pioneer) puts out great sound and I can hear it very well. I also put in better speakers than the OEM. Put a good stereo and you should be good-to-go.

I used the provided OEM radio hole cover and cut out the middle to use as face plate. If you'd like, I can take pictures. I wouldn't waste money on the factory harness; you can just use spade connectors and connect to tractor's main wiring harness.
