When I was a little one growing up in west Cleveland, there was a set of tracks nearby and a companion set of tracks for the (at that time Cleveland Transit System) thay carried light rail cars, electric overhead line powered that took communers into downtown cleveland. Anyway, when a freight train was coming down the tracks but it was still far away, you could put your ear on the rail and her it coming. Don't remember if the CTS light rail did that but the freight trains did. My feeble memory isn't all that good but I do remember where the tracks went under Triskett Avenue and we'd climb down under the bridge to get to the tracks. Long time ago, at least 60 years. Kind of suprpised I remember the name of the road actually.
