cabin fever seating in....

raining hard all morning... all tools in truck or shed. and to wimpy to go out getting sooked to get them and begin working on something either in house or in the shed.

We have about 25" of rain since January(Northern NY),serious flooding in the Great Lakes and closer to home the St.Lawrence River.All kinds of docks,pilings ,trees and what wasn't secured floating down the river.
Just got on my fields to start plowing for food plots,last year I was completely done at this time.

Yeah, it's been a wet year here in Southern Illinois, too, so far ... 22.31" of precip to date measured at nearby Scott AFB.

Also been wet spring here enough so there standing water places that should be.

We have had lots of rain, idk how much but I'm happy with it.

I spent 3 months it seemed this past winter fighting mud and all kinds of BS, the rain this year isn't bothering me one bit being the ground has been staying solid, my tractor isn't sinking every time I pull it out of the barn and the cattle aren't standing up to there first joint (elbow? Idk) in mud and water while trying to eat hay at the feeder, the seed I spread is just now growing. 2005 John Deere 4320 in Ohio winter 2017 - YouTube

I'll take this rain over a muddy warm winter any day.

We have a lot of rain up here but last year set records and this year is well on its way to top that. That is why "Puget Sounders" don't 'TAN" we just "Rust". Probably be another summer of the green tomatoes if we don't start getting those 50 Degree nights and hot days. Really cuts into the seat time with slipping and sliding around.

Getting sick of the rain here, too. Onliest thing, we have some wind and tornadoes mixed in which ups the ante some. So far the tornadoes have spared my community, although a considerable amount of real estate has washed into the creek in my back yard. My yard has turned to weeds, but everything is green and my tomatoes look as good as they ever have and my onions are already about the size of tennis balls!

Well, we sure got buckets of rain over here on the dry side of WA state. The mosquitos are about to carry everything away.

finally stop yesterday for a bit. thought i was going to have a flood from the pups inside!

wind whipping all through the night last couple nights. i am not directly in tornado alley, but i do see the edge of of all the high winds. hail/rain going horizontal one direction, then a few minutes later going horizontal in other direction.

when the pups put there paw on me and then grasp me digging there nails in me some. its time to head for the basement!
