Hi all

I've been looking to build some raised beds for some of our vegetables - clucumbers and strawberries. I haven't found anything used so looking at new. The two that come up in my web searches are Rainflo's model 2400 and Holland Tranplanter model 1235. There is a huge difference between them Rainflo's is around $2,400 and the Transplanter is $4,400.

I have not been able to kick the tires so don't really know whether the Rainflo is comparable.

Do you have any recommendations? What do you think of these two? Is there another one that is better?

Thanks

Garth

I have a Nolt's raised bed mulch layer. It does a good job it takes a little time to get it adjusted.

Wow. They have really good prices. I don't see much different in the design between the various mfg's. I suspect some have more metal. \

Have you run into any rocks?

Have the you tried their water wheel planter? It seems like a good design.

No rocks our soil is mostly clay. I don't have awater wheel transplanter I would like to get one in the future. The only thing I would like to see Nolts add a fertilizer box to the bedder. I Talked to them last year an they said they were looking into it.
