I was just reading the post on the BX2200 bagger and noticed that he said his mmm and 3 pt raise at roughly the same time. I have yet to take delivery of my B7500HSD and noticed that the owners manual says nothing about lifting the mmm. Question I have is will the mmm add an additional lever to raise and lower it or does this all happen with the one hydraulic raise and lower lever?

Happens all with one lever.

What you can do is raise the MMM, then stick in two pins that
lock the mower in the raised position. Then you can raise and lower the 3pt without any movement of the MMM.

Supposedly the pins to lock it up come with the tractor, but I didn't have any with mine (I have the 7500HSD with 60" MMM).

The MMM is so easy to take off that I've never really come across a situation where I've wanted to leave it on and pin it up.

Good luck with your new b7500. I have owned mine now for about 2 months and absolutely love it. I have a 302FEL and a Kubota 60" MMM. I have not had any problem with insufficient horespower. As others have said on this site, the tractor will run out of traction before it runs out of power. I also bought a Kubota 60" snowblower that arrived recently, and am very interested to see how that works out in clearing my driveway this winter. Since my purchase I have bought two accessories that I have really enjoyed and highly recommend. One is a tiltmeter, that I bought from R&B Mfg. and mounted on the grill guard to my FEL. The second is a tooth bar, that I bought through my Kubota dealer, that is attached to the front of my FEL bucket. The tiltmeter gives me a lot of peace of mind regarding the stability of my tractor on the steeper hills on my property, and the tooth bar makes many of the digging and earth moving tasks go a lot faster. When I read posts extolling the virtues of the b2410 or the b2910, and their extra weight and horsepower, I find myself wishing at times that I had bought a bigger tractor. When I go home and actually use my B7500, however, I am absolutely amazed at how much it can do. It makes tasks that used to seem hurculean with my old craftsman lawn and garden tractor seem like a breeze. In short, you are in for a real treat when your new machine arrives!

Thanks for all the helpful info. I had intended to get the tooth bar but the dealer forgot to include it in the price he gave me. Oh well, I decided to wait and see how it goes as there is no problem mailing one out after the fact. I will definately look into the tiltometer. I have a few steep slopes and would probably feel better with a point of referance on inclines.

Jeff:

Have you removed and installed your MMM. Is this a difficult task. I am hoping that I will not hesitate to remove the MMM to head into the woods.

Re: tooth bar

Where did you buy the tooth bar from; got a picture?

Re: tooth bar

I have yet to remove my mower 'cause I haven't received my tractor yet. Hopefully delivery will happen soon!!! Carver equipment has tooth bars for varying width buckets. check them out at www.carverequipment.com and look under the heading "tooth bars for loader buckets". It lists the price for each size available.

Removing the MMM is extremely simple - you unhook a latch at the front, remove two pins on either side, unhook the PTO, and roll it away. Takes a few minutes.

Just to clarify, since the hydro lever operates the MMM and the 3 pt hitch does the MMM lift first or do they lift at the same time. Also, I take it that mowing height is only adjusted by raising and lowering the wheels on the deck. You really don't adjust mowing height with the hydro lever.

Just got word, tractor delivery Saturday. B7500hsd, la302fel, 60"mmm, r4's and grass catcher!!!
