March 1st has been Kubota's price setting date in past years. My 2009 was delivered to the dealer before that date, so I was able to get it for less than one delivered after March 1st, when the 2009 prices increased. If the price had gone down, I might have paid more, but that's unlikely.
If your dealer has stock he received prior to March 1st, he may be willing to pass that the lower price on to you. The
L3200 is a new model, so that may not be an option.
I suspect the US dollar is in decline against the yen, so I would expect the price to go up in response.
The timing may be to stimulate slow winter sales in North America. After all, if we are planning to buy anyway and we think the price is going up in a few months, most of us will try to save a few dollars and buy now.
The low-interest incentives may or may not co-incide with the price increases, I don't know what Kubota is offering now.
