I was at my dealer last week and they had more tractors on hand, on the lot and out back in crates than I have ever seen. Most were SCUTS/CUTS with only a couple of M's that I could see.

Did they go up in January, or did they just say that? Also does anyone know how much it cost to upgrade to the QA bucket for the L 3400 & L3800?

In 2009 the bucket upgrade was $500 CDN, it also reduces the lifting capacity slightly due to the longer distance from the bucket lip to the pivot pin.

I suspect the US dollar is in decline against the yen, so I would expect the price to go up in response.

I'm no economist and maybe one needs to look at a longer time frame, but this chart of the last 120 days shows the opposite, with the yen down against the dollar. If one thinks the US economy is in bad shape, they should take a look at Japan's. Japan has the second largest debt to its GDP of any country (only Zimbabwe is worse).

it is true. its an average of 2.5% but varies from nothing to 4%. It is because of exchange rate issues. They claim that they are at a 8-9% disadvantage compared to a year ago. Field inventory does not get more expensive... but stuff that ships going forward does. Dealers have more stock now than any other time of the year, so it will be awhile before this shows up in quotes.

I just came from My dealer today and he said the price ona B2320 wil go up 340.00 . Starting in March.
