Just bought a new B7500 with 60" MMM and FEL. I have read thru the manual but have not yet taken delivery of the unit. I was unable to establish exactly how does one raise the MMM. It appeares that you would use the hydraulic control lever but how does it work? Does it raise and lower the MMM and 3PH together or can you raise and lower them individually? If individually how? Is there a switch that tells the control lever which to move?

Thanks for any input.

Your supposition is correct. Raising/lowering the mmm also raises/lowers the 3ph. There are pins that can be inserted in the deck that will keep it in the up position for those times you want to raise/lower the 3ph independently of the mmm.

The mmm and the 3pt work at the same time. There are brackets on the 3pt which have rods attached to them coming forward to the mmm to make it raise and lower. It is possible to raise the mmm and pin it in position so the 3pt will operate by itself. Make sure these pins come with the tractor when taking delivery. When I got mine, the holes to put the pin through didn't line up. With a little adjusting of the rods that come forward I was able to get them in though it is a tough access area. One other possible problem area is if you got r4's. When you raise the mmm all the way and also have the tires at their furthest out position the tires will hit the left rear (as you sit on the tractor) mmm wheel bracket. This is kinda a pain when you just want to raise it as you have to remember not to take it up all the way. In the pinned position, once you have it pinned, you can then lower the mmm and the rear will sag giving you some clearance. You will still have to be careful if you have something on the 3pt to not raise it all the way up and drive. It makes a heck of a racket and you will definately know you need to lower it a bit.
