The kiddos were playing w/ the tractor last week & I went to rake my driveway today & the adjustment bar (don't know the name of it) that hooks to the top of an implement and has all the threads on it so you can loosen or tighten it was out of whack. What does this bar do & how do I find the sweet spot again? I tried loosening & tightening it a little but the rake just doesn't seem to work like it did before. TIA!

That is called the Top Link, and it is used to adjust the level of your implement hooked to your tractor. One end has right hand threads, and the other has left hand threads to enable the operator to shorten or lengthen the link to make the adjustments needed for the job.
If it won't adjust, run both ends out of the barrel, then put it back together so you will have equal lengths to make the adjustments needed.

... and apply some fresh grease to the threads before threading them back in. Some top links (mine) have grease fittings just for that task.

To expand just a little, adjust the toplink so that the frame of the rake is level, otherwise when the rake is angled left or right the tines will not be level.
