We have access to mills at work. We machine a couple of 3/4" stainless plate and threaded the new holes. I havent built the frames but i did hook up one to a pump and valve and it works.
We did machine a space for the o rings, (.085") and also made new lines. And it was all done with my boss on company time ^_^
Love my job. So far I only have $445 invested in these projects. Only things left I need is one more pump, one more valve and i just bought all the steel for the frames so Im almost ready to build these. 40-50ton hydraulic presses similar to what Im building go for anywhere from $4,000 and up. I plan on selling one and keeping the other. Id say its a fair bet to say im going to come out ahead after keeping one and paying for the materials to build them both.
