I have a MT240HE / LL3302, and there is a loose packing on all 4 cylinders. I'm wondering if this is a problem that the dealer needs to correct, or are these left over shipping packing the dealer forgot to remove prior to delivery, and I should just cut them off?

They are simple o-rings put on there before painting.... they serve no other purpose! Cut them off....

yeah, it looks like your wipers are still in place. Those, like what mt125 owner said, are probably there to protect the wipers from the painting process, and were likely forgotten about. If no oil is leaking out, dont worry about it.
