Rant on shipping

I avoid USPS shipping when possible. Here, they never seem to arrive when expected. But when you get "moving through the system, any information ends. Simply hoping for "Good Luck" is all that is left.

I have a UPS package that has been delayed mid-country for over a week. This happens to all shippers with FedEx being the worst.

USPS used to have much better tracking. Apparently it worked so well that they did away with it.

For some reason it seems to vary by package. Sometimes tracking info is fairly detailed, other times it's just "on route to destination". No real pattern to it.
