No real need for larger ones unless you have a very specific application. What many people fail to realize is very few tie down points on trailers are rated over the 6,600 lb WLL you get with 3/8 GR70 chain. To use larger chain or binders is a waste because they are only as strong as the weakest link. My 53' flatbed has what appear to be very heavy duty stake pockets and pipe spools and the rub rail is thick. Way stouter appearing than anything I have ever seen on a gooseneck and these attachment points are only rated for 5,400 WLL.
