Ratchet jack for top link?

For a little bit more money but no work, just bolt in see the attachment. Cat 2 but would work with conversion bushings.

The attached picture is from a Princess Auto catalog. You can order online, www.princessauto.com, however, I'm not sure if they will ship to the US, they are in Canada.

Hmm . . . on closer inspection it is the same thing as the Agri-Supply Ratchet Jack that I posted about originally.

Has anyone used one of these? What's the opinion? Are they better or worse than a standard top link?

Be careful. That big red handle looks like it will find a way to get hung up or jammed on something as the lift goes up and down.

I picked one of these units up a Princess Auto today, $50CDN. It is pretty easy to use, making adjustments easy from the drivers' seat. One thing that you have to be aware of, is that these units are Cat 2, so you need to get bushings to convert to Cat 1. The other thing is that each of attachment points, is 2" wide (wider than a std. top link), so you might need to check if that will fit. I needed to make a slight mod. to my tractor to get the end to fit.
