I heard when those big suckers hit you it's like getting whacked with a 2 x 4. How much anti-venom would you need for that one? How about the vaccine for it? Don't think any dog could live through that bite if it injected a bunch of venom. I also heard some strikes are "dry" strikes, but I wouldn't count on it. Just can't trust anything that's got no shoulders.
Well, you must be smarter than me, I got re-married also...4 of mine, 2 of hers, just like you. But we had to have one of "ours" . I don't regret it at all. As a matter of fact. My Wesley keeps me young and is the apple of my eye....spend lots of time with him where I didn't/couldn't so much with the others.
He just loves it up at our property. He shot and killed his very first diamondback when he was 7 with his pellet gun. Pumped about 5 shots into the head. We skinned it and ate it and now it's tanned hide is on his wall.
