I think my dog got snake trained about 5-6 weeks ago: I cut/bruised/fang-like area just above her nose on her snout. It healed and you can't even see it today. Have no clue if it was a rattlesnake, WM or copperhead. She's fine and that's all that counts.

A pro type shock collar is worse than grabbing a live 120 line, don't ask how I know. They have a range of several miles. Hard to believe but some dogs can take the shock and look at you and laugh , others will fold up under much less stimulation. Pro type collars are adjustable to match dog.
They used to run $ 1000 plus. You can buy a good one for around $ 100 or less today.
