OK, I have 15 acres of raw land, I removed the stumps, and burnt trees there is still some small burnt dead sage stumps. I have rake the area, and need to know from the experts should I till it or leave it a lone? Here is some photos. I am planning to plant some type of grass I don't know what kind yet. The land is used to train retrievers. 1106140930.jpg

Is it smooth enough for what you want to do? Do you care what type of grass grows there? I'd probably just let nature take over. In a short amount of time you should have native grasses growing there. Just keep it mowed so the trees don't take over again.

Yes I would love to do a food plot on 1-2 acres, should I till it or use a rake to loosen it and then plant??
Thanks,
