I've been there two times. I like the place and it is beautiful scenery. It is odd when you come around the corner of one huge sandstone monolith and a rundown shack with a blue porta-potty leaning against it appears. And two non-running vehicles in the goat yard.
When I watch old John Wayne movies I watch for the scene locations.
It is not a National Park like some people think. The Navajos own it and live there.
