RE: buying used 2003 L110 HST...good deal ?

I know someone who is selling their house and I can buy their 2003 JD L110 tractor for $ 800. It has 100 hours on it. This seems like a good deal to me, but want to make sure it is a fair deal. I figure I will use it for closer to the house where mowing with the 4100 and RFM is a little cumbersome. Also, what is the consensus on these units ? I believe it has a Kohler engine (??). Thanks

I don't think most people think too highly of the 110 as its sort of the base Lowes sold one I think... but it sells for what... like 1700 - 1800 bucks? So for 800 bucks wiht only like two good seasons on it... sure seems like it would be worth it to me to use it a few years. So its tempting I should think if you not expecting it to last forever and its in good shape. I would buy it if all things were equal, you need it, and its been well taken care of.
