I'm bumping this to a new post because so many of you helped and I want to thank you. The brake stomping didn't do anything except make my bride mad at me for digging holes in the ground...BUT...the mower trick worked! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I hooked it up to the finish mower and engaged the PTO and voila! Absolutely fantastic! Now, to avoid a repetition, should I block the clutch down when not is use (all the time; some times; ?) Thanks to all of you. Steve

it's debatable whether or not it would help, considering how yours stuck in the first place...
but... looking at it from the other side of the coin, it shouldn't hurt anything either /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My NH 1920 came with a wood block to block the clutch.. and I also block the clutch on my 46 2n just because I know the front seal weeps a bit and COULD make it stick.. though it never has.

So did my Kubota B2710, although I never used it. Of course my tractor stayed parked inside all the time and probably never sat for more than a week without being used.

Don't know about your tractor but my Mitsubishi and Satoh tractors have a little flip latch down by the clutch pedal just to hold the pedal down. Never used them myself because I haven't had that problem.
