Ready for a TN

I have/had a 1999 2120. It was not powerfull for my type of work. I needed more pto hp. So I have a TN70DA hydraulic shuttle on order. So... I hope ugrading from 35 pto hp to 60 pto hp should do it for me. I have not driven the hydrualic shuttle TN series but have test driven the mechanical shuttle. It seemed very smooth and effortless.

Well, I can say that the TN is one nice rig. I just got mine. TN75A. 4WD with 32LC loader (quick attach). Two rear remote valves, loaded rear tires. It will easily bury the 6' bucket into a pile of gravel without groaning. I moved 15 tons of gravel, some wet clay and some rocks last night.

Robert, I couldn't agree with you more. That's why I added the TN to my fleet. Probably won't go larger than the TN in tractors. Then the TN backhoe just wasn't cutting it for the large bolders and stumps, so I added a used 44,000 Hitachi excavator, digs great, much fun, next I would like to add a dozer since an 8 foot box blade on the TN can only move some much.

Good luck finding one ! I've been trying to buy one for a month and only last week did my local dealer locate one in LA that the dealer would part with ! In NorthCentral PA they are very hard to find. I won't be able to get it for another week or so because the loader had to be ordered from the factory! He called 22 dealers before he found one that the dealer would part with !

I waited about 5 months for my second TN that was made in Italy for me. I was told it would be 3 months. But it was worth the wait.. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I sure hope so. I've got about 30 acres to rotary cut of chest high grasses and weeds... The extra HP and cab would be nice!

The other day I was having second thoughts about my decision on the TN... thinking maybe it was a mistake. There is a dealer that did have the TN I wanted in stock (early May) but his price was $4k more.

As my wife tels me... "A watched pot never boils" She didn't need to say that /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Just wait until you're mowing on some hot humid day and you hit a hornets nest. I've had hundreds on the outside of my TN while I sit in air conditioned comfort listening to the stereo and continue to mow as if nothing had happened. Cab is very well sealed.../forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
