Ready for Winter

( And, come on guys, I cleaned up my rig after a summer of mowing and hauling things around with the FEL. I do like a clean machine though )

Nothing wrong with that , i keep mine real clean also. I think i will get some of those reflectors and add them to my rops, can't hurt as i am sometimes on the road at night plowing snow

Astor, is that by any chance a police dog? Just curious....

I was thinking of buying the Kubota sun canopy for the BX 23. (I don't like to wear hats, but as time goes on I don't like to burn the top of my head either) Do you think the golf cart cab would work with that roof? It is fiberglass with a metal framework underneath that only mounts to the ROP. There are no front supports with this roof which the catalog does call for? My dealer said it's around $300+ which is quite a bit more that your way, but it's bolt on and can stay on year round.

This would be perfect for your needs. I have the same issues (sunburn on top of my head? how can that be? there was hair up there last time I looked!!!)
Bought this last winter for my BX2200 and it stayed on all summer. The brackets bolt to the ROPS and the top slides in with 1" tubing. Goes on and off in about 2 minutes. You would need to remove it to fold down your ROPS, if you need to do so.

P.S. although they showed it in a graphite color, they sent me a yellow one- which initially I had a hard time with, but it does make things cooler and matches the lever covers on the PTO engage.

Hey Astor,

I used that set up all last year and had a blast. Here is a photo of the BX2750 mounted to my Killer B7610. I can't wait to give it a whirl this winter.

That tractor looks way to polished to use even in snow. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey Ron,

I have it on good authority that clean equipment brings good fortune to the owner and his beloved. I figure if I can just keep her cherry for another eleven months, I should be watching the Detroit Tigers in the world series about this time next year.

I'll let you know how it goes.

If I thought that would help I would be out there right now polishing. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
You blame me if they don't make it. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Terry,

I double checked the owner's manual. It looks like your blower is just fine. Its the tractor that's backwards.
