So do you think i'll be fine with the DK45 for all around use? I just hate to spend all that money and not be able to use it to mow my lawn. I think the extra power will come in handy as compared to the DK35 so right now I am leaning more towards the DK45.
Since you say that you don't have many trees, you should be able to use either one. The DK35 is quite powerful, and you can get the optional Mid PTO if you want a mid mount mower (MMM) instead of a rear finish mower (RFM). The mid mount is not available on the DK45.
I'm assuming you were planning on RFM? With either tractor you'll need some space to turn without using the brake, or you'll tear up your lawn.
Kioti actually states that the DK45 will turn in 2" less space than the DK35, either way about 10' without brake. Now having mowed my lawn with my brush mower occasionally, never a RFM, I know that just turning is not really all that much of an issue, as I do a lot of forward and back to hit everything. Three point turns as one would do in turning a car on a street would be used a lot, making the need for full turn arounds a different matter.
Go with the one you think will do the other jobs you'll need as both are somewhat overkill just for mowing unless you have a HUGE lawn. Go try them, the DK35 may be all you need, or HST go with the CK30. John
