I spent some time on the tractors today, and came to the conclusion that the ePTO and rear 3-point hitch controls on the 4044R were not worth $6k. Reading the comments here and talking to the dealer, I did decide that is was worth paying the extra $2K for the YT359. A YT359 it is.

Congratulations,I just recently took delivery of my Yt359C a couple of weeks ago and as you already know they are really nice tractors.

Since several of you have had the YT359C for a few years, I was hoping for an opinion update since I am considering one now.

Congratulations on your new tractor great choice!

I just got the bad news, was suppose to get my tractor
2nd week in May now have to wait until 2nd or 3rd week
in June. Yanmar could not get any tires for 2 weeks as
there is a rubber shortage. Oh well, a Kubota dealer said
it will take 8 months from the time you order to get one.

I am new here and this is my first post but after 8 years with a kubota L3800 I finally replaced it with a YT359C. The kubota was a great tractor but I simply needed more HP and after spending some time in the Yanmar I was amazed at the simplicity of the transmission. After several days of mowing and moving dirt, the AB function and auto throttle is like having a very high tech machine that was $1000s less then a comparable sized kubota or JD. Not knocking those tractors at all, just simply saying if you have not spent time in a yanmar, you really should!
