I've seen quite a few DPS pickups over the years, I think they use them for commercial enforcement. The ones with the camper shell on them, anyway.

I would imagine you're right, Brad, at least for their primary job, but I've seen them both with and without camper shells, and I've seen them writing tickets to car drivers on I-35E (around Waxahachie).
