Waiting for the credit union to get back with me....Just about to buy the dk45se hst. Its this or the 4120JD. Anyways about the only thing I need for now is the cutting edge for the bucket.
Loading tires, is it neccessary or even needed on this tractor???

When I bought my 45 it took forever for the credit union to take care of things but finally I got the money.
As far as the loaded tire question, yes I would get them filled. An extra expense but worth it.
Good luck with your tractor, you will really enjoy it.

DK45se great choice! The 401 loader has 2700lb lift cap. and even with the tires full it will tip.

Load the tires.

I agree, load the tires. I did not get loaded tires on my DK40se due to a concern about excessive weight on an old barn floor where I store the tractor. I now regret that as my loader can lift considerably more than I can balance with just a 500lb implement on the 3PT. I can easily put some planks down on the barn floor to distribute weight but I didn't think of that when ordering the tractor.

Yesterday I picked up a big rock (photo) and had to keep it almost on the ground as I moved it as my rear wheels kept coming off the ground. Not a pleasant sensation. You can see the left rear tire is almost off the ground in the photo.

I may end up loading some RimGuard myself one of these days unless I can find a decent price on some wheel weights.

Slight hijack- I have been considering either the CK25 or the LK3054, dealer says the machines are heavy enough so I don't need to load the tires. Do these machines have a loader that does not have the power to lift something heavy enough to worry about loading the tires? Or do I need to educate the dealer some more?

Thanks, Jim

On my CK20 I could lift the rear tires despite a 500lb bush hog and loaded rear tires. I couldn't lift the rear when I had the BH mounted though. The CK25/KL130 combo has only a little more lift capacity but is certainly heavier weighing over 1000lbs more than the CK20/KL120. I would personally err on the side of adding more weight unless I heard from CK25 owners that it was not an issue.

If what your dealer said was true than why would the big heavy utility tractors with loaders have filled tires, and most of them do.

Is the interest rate lower with the credit union, then what Kioti had this spring? If I remember right it was 5.5% APR. this spring.
