Never lost a case in court... don't have to go often.

The last time the Judge commented on how I was the best prepared plaintiff ever to appear before him and asked if I had a legal background ;-)

This year I was going to replace my driveway... just old. Sure glad I didn't or maybe I should have?

Never fooled around with game cams and first heard about them here at TBN

It would be fairly easy to set on up on the garage eves...

Any recomendations on cams and where to get one?

I would get a motion activated video camera...small one you could hide on the eve...and it would record anything that moved...a game cam will just give you still shots I think....Check http://x10pro-usa.com//onsale/index.html

We also have easment for several pipelines crossing my land. The pipeline company removes/kills any tree sapling growing on the easment. Before they come to my land they send me a letter describing the activity. If there is a damage in example they have to drive across my crop they pay whatever I ask for withing a reasonable limits. Electrical utility is about the same.

Sewer mains are city owned and city bills us every two months...

My neighbor just called and said an older white pickup with no markings drove down my drive, driver got out and left a coil of black hose and the nozzel when she went to look...

Not a peep from the city... guess they got the message.

So far I have not had any sucess getting a property in the county... even offereing full price and not contingencies except for a survey paid for by me... need to know exact boundaries, easement and such...

Came real close one year ago and everytime stuff like this happens I think about the one that got away...

Property is up about 30% in desireble areas here in the SF Bay Area... in other words the areas I'm looking at where a person can park a tractor or trailer and not have to worry about it.

Thankfully, I have very good neighbors...

The city problem is in Oakland California...

I do know the area out by Yelm Highway... used to go the McKenna Post Office over the bridge.

Everytime I'm up that way... something new... especially in and around Lacey.

Game cam is only good for snapshots. I know they have video cam ones, but you better off getting a wired camera that records to drive and let you see on tv too . Just google q-see and you will see 4 or more cameras kit that is ready to go. You just need to install it around your house and have recorder box inside your house. Don't mess with anything else that is not package deal so you can be up and running and be done with it. This way you can record who moved what and why. This way you can call the supervisior in question and ask them why ...etc so they can explain themselves why they didnt contact you first esp moving YOUR personal vehicles and stuff.

I guess I'm a little confused... just because they have an easement across your land, doesn't mean they have the right to drive anywhere they want to get to it. Do they also have another deeded R/W across you to get to the pipeline? If that isn't the case; and you also haven't given them written permission to use your roadway; you can shut them down right now. I wouldn't mess around with game cameras or anything else. Contact the supervisor and tell him/her of your complaints; but first make arrangements to have a deputy sheriff ready to take action if need be.

I can guarantee you will get immediate results... there's too much money involved keeping the project on schedule.
Once the project has moved on it will be a lot harder to get satisfaction.

Disclaimer; laws vary from state to state; results may vary. However you still have a legitimate grievance, and your state is much more liberal than mine.

They have an easment over/above the underground lines...

I'm the only parcel where many easements come together along the back or bottom property line.

Plus one line, 27 feet deep, goes from the manhole in the middle of the street right down my property line about halfway and then jogs right clear across to my other parellel line and continues to the bottom of the ravine.

The terain is quite rugged.

None of the easements are remotley accesable because of this and/or obstruction... most easments are 5' wide... so over the years, folks have put in swimming pools, patios right up to the 5'.

The new line, heat welded pipe as long as 300', is assembled and stage on my land and pulled through the old clay mains.

A permit is required to remove trees with a public hearing... In the last 60+ years a lot of Oaks now grow over the lines or inside the easement.

I built a trail on my land to access all my land... it is more like a road because a 4wd is not necessary.

The man I bought the home from had never been to the bottom property line and he was the one that built the place back in 1957... none of my neighbors had ever walked their property lines... very steep and tons of Poison Oak with vines the size of coke cans... except for my land which I cleared...

The city has a 1950's 10" sewer main serving about 100 homes running across the middle of my acreage behind my home. Actually, three 8" lines come together at my rear property line with 5 man hole covers total.

The previous owner lived here over 50 years and never saw anyone on the easement.

Due to new EPA regs... the city is replacing miles of old clay sewer and has been in my backyard with excavators, backhoes, trucks, compressors, trailers for 1 year this month...

They have a 10' easement which they can't use because there are protected heritage oaks growing in the way... so everything comes down my driveway...

I've come home and found my equipment moved and tonight... my new 150' craftsman garden hose missing.

Is there anything I can do to keep them on the easement and off the rest of my property?

I was thinking of parking the Deere 110 TBL on my cement drive... then I thought I'm sure they have a universal key???
Only if they say you can. An essential purpose of the state is to monopolize the ability to apply force, and theyve pretty much got it sewn up.

It doesn't matter what others have done or how many lines come together on your property; without a legal taking even the government doesn't have the right (yet) to use your property without asking or legally obtaining permission.

A project of this magnitude should have a person onsite to deal with this specific type of issue... if you can, take a morning off to talk with somebody. There also should be phone #'s posted onsite if you can't get satisfaction...
I find it hard to believe that you're complaints won't be addressed promptly... it costs tens of thousands of dollars to tie a project like this up just for an hour. If all else fails a strategically dumped load of shale in the evening will get some attention... I doubt that it will come to this.
